Here is the new and hopefully final model of the Scenic depot. The superstructure awaiting paint with only a few small details to be added afterwards. One notable exception is the train order signal which isn’t anywhere near complete. The out of focus brass object on the left is a train order stand built up out of stick brass from GNRHS reference sheet plans. The depot was erected from a floor plan dating to the expansion of the western end of the building and experience gained in the building of several incorrect models. Due to various circumstances that seem to be particular to scales other than HO, the wood for the platform had to be brought down to dimension by hand. A little bit of doodling can be seen on the side of the platform framing.
